It was a day of smiles and celebration combined with emotion and tears as special needs students at the Kauri Sue Hamilton School graduated to the next chapter in their lives. Nine students received diplomas as part of a transition exercise program. It is a proud but difficult day for many students and their families who have relied on the special needs school to provide education and support services throughout their young lives. The graduating students wore traditional caps and gowns sitting proudly on stage while Cody Bingham gave a light-hearted graduation speech. Congratulations and best of luck to these amazing students! Thank you to the kind and caring staff at Kauri Sue for all they do making precious memories for students, their family and friends. Enjoy a photo gallery on our Facebook page.
