Governor Herbert Recognizes Herriman High 2017 Presidential Scholar

Marin Murdock and Julianna Wing stand in front of a pair of flagsIt has been a summer Herriman High School’s Marin Murdock will never forget. First the recent graduate traveled to Washington, D.C. to accept the 2017 U.S. Presidential Scholar medal, one of just 161 students selected from about 4,000 seniors across the nation who competed for the prestigious award. Then, when she arrived home, Utah Governor Gary Herbert recognized Marin for her incredible accomplishments in education and as a Presidential Scholar recipient.

Julianna Wing, a Business and Marketing teacher at Herriman High School traveled to Washington, D.C. as well to accept her award as a 2017 U.S. Presidential Scholar Distinguished Teacher.
