George Washington Surprises Students at Fox Hollow Elementary

Flags Line Fence at Fox HollowIt was a day of surprises for students at Fox Hollow Elementary School. First, they arrived to find the school fences and flag pole area lined with beautiful American flags. Next, they were greeted by George Washington and Principal Kevin Pullan who was dressed up as an early American colonist. George Washington waved to passing motorists and had his picture taken with students. It was all a part of the 5th grade Constitution Day celebration assembly. Washington talked to students about the importance of freedom, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. George Washington also talked about the people he considers heroes, which included teachers at the school.
