The Board of Education approved the the following boundaries for Butterfield Canyon Elementary located in Herriman. Recommended boundary adjustments also affect Herriman Elementary and Foothills Elementary.

Butterfield Canyon Elementary (year-round): Begin at the West County Line and Butterfield Canyon Road; east along Butterfield Canyon Road (also known as Herriman Highway) (south side); continue along Butterfield Canyon Road (both sides beginning at the mouth of Butterfield Canyon and including all roads and lanes exiting onto Butterfield Canyon Road) to Rose Canyon Road; south along Rose Canyon Road (west side) to Butterfield Park Way; east along Butterfield Park Way (south side) to Emmeline Drive; north along Emmeline Drive (east side) to Mirabella Drive; east along Mirabella Drive (south side) to Rosecrest Road; south and east along Rosecrest Road (south side) to 4800 W.; south along 4800 W. (west side) to the South County Line; west along the South County Line (north side) to the West County Line; north along the West County Line (east side) to Butterfield Canyon Road.

Herriman Elementary (year-round): Begin at the West County Line and 11800 S.; east along 11800 S. (south side) to 5400 W.; southeast to approximately 5250 W. and Herriman Highway (west side); southwest to 5400 W. and 13400 S. (west side); west along 13400 S. (north side) to 5600 W.; south along 5600 W. (west side) to Mirabella Drive; west along Mirabella Drive (north side) to Emmeline Dr.; south along Emmeline Drive (west side) to Butterfield Park Way; west along Butterfield Park Way (north side) to Rose Canyon Road; north along Rose Canyon Road (east side) to Herriman Highway (or Butterfield Canyon Road); west along Butterfield Canyon Road (both sides and all roads and lanes exiting onto Butterfield Canyon Road to the mouth of Butterfield Canyon go to the New Elementary); continue west along Butterfield Canyon Road (north side) to the West County Line; north along the West County Line (east side) to 11800 S. 

Foothills Elementary (year-round): Begin at 13400 S. and 5600 W.; east along 13400 S. (south side) to 4800 W.; south along 4800 W. (west side) to Rosecrest Road; west along Rosecrest Road (north side); continue north on Rosecrest Road (east side) (Rosecrest Road becomes 5600 W. at 14020 S.); continue along 5600 W. (east side) to 13400 S.
