We hope you like our new look and are proud to have it represent you. The shield is our coat of arms. It symbolizes the traditions of Jordan School District and the many roads we have yet to travel. It illustrates our strength. The knowledge we arm students with will become their protection, their shield. The colors are simple yet enhance a contemporary version of a traditional mark.
Our tagline -- lead, educate, inspire -- skillfully reflects who we are and what we are about.
Lead: As a District we will continue to lead the way in research-based curriculum and strategies. We believe education must be relevant and responsive to the ever-changing world.
Educate: Not only do we educate the 49,000 students who come through our doors, but we are committed to educating parents and the community about the opportunities we provide for students. Our students continually outperform their counterparts across the country and we will continue our tradition of improved student instruction and achievement.
Inspire: Our educators inspire future generations one student at a time. Quality teaching promotes quality student learning. As students leave our system we hope they are inspired to continue learning for a lifetime.
We will officially begin using our new logo and tagline on July 1 when Jordan District continues to provide public education to students living in Bluffdale, Copperton, Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan and West Jordan.
