- The building, opened in 1972, features self-contained classrooms with a central media center.
- The curriculum meets or exceeds all District and state stands. Basic skills are emphasized and teachers use a wide variety of instructional materials to meet individual student needs.

- Terra Linda has a full service kitchen where hot lunches are prepared for students each day at a price of $1.75. Breakfast is also served every morning beginning at 8:15 a.m. at a price of 70 cents for students.
- An active PTA and School Community Council give support for activities and provide input on important school issues. All parents are invited to participate.
- School volunteers contribute thousands of hours of service to the school each year.
- Visitors are always welcome at Terra Linda, but we do require that all visitors check in at the front office.
- Our teachers voluntarily participate in hours of in service training to help stay current on teaching techniques and assure quality education to students.
- Technology is integrated into our classroom instruction. Every teacher has a laptop computer, document camera and projector. We offer an extensive Mac computer lab with a part-time lab assistant. We also provide an additional writing/typing lab for our students.
- Terra Linda has a school-wide positive, behavioral program that enhances self-esteem and learning of students
Criterion Referenced Tests (CRT)
The Core Criterion Referenced Tests (CRTs) are administered at the end of each school year to help assess how well students have mastered the standards and objectives set forth in the State of Utah Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science core curricula. Student achievement is reported as the percent of students reaching “proficient” by earning a Level 3 or Level 4 performance on the Core CRT.
