The community is invited to attend a University of Utah Health Fair focusing on diabetes prevention for children. This is a kick-off event for the “Crush Diabetes” program, which will be happening statewide over the next three years. Parents and children will learn about the life-long benefits of healthy eating and being physically active.
There will be free dinner, pictures with the U of U mascot, Swoop, dental resources, nutrition games and other activities, along with an educational film about diabetes.
This event is free and open to the public.
