Students, teachers and members of the community came together at Bingham High School to participate in a number of events encouraging everyone to treat each other with kindness, respect and acceptance. ‘Acceptance Day’ was an effort on the part of PTA members and others to stop bullying and the negative impact bullying can have on young teens. There were classes and other activities with an anti-bullying message. Stand4Kind also brought BMX 5050 riders and the band Foreign Figures out to perform.
In addition, the day was a celebration of the acceptance of lacrosse as an official high school sport. Lacrosse games were played throughout the day.
