Fun Fact Friday: JSD High School Students Raise Over $418,000 During Holiday Season

Giving their hearts, time and energy, high school students all around Jordan School District raised thousands of dollars for charitable organizations, helping their neighbors and friends during this time of giving.

All totaled, Riverton High, Herriman High, West Jordan High, Copper Hills High and Bingham High raised over $418,000 for charities, with money still coming in!

Doing odd jobs for neighbors, partnering with local restaurants to donate a night’s proceeds, holding talent shows or simply collecting money in water jugs, students used creativity and had fun raising money. They worked incredibly hard to make each school’s holiday campaign a success.

This year, schools helped Make-A-Wish Utah, Now I Can Foundation, Millie’s Princess Foundation, among other worthwhile organizations in the area that help those in need.

Congratulations to all high schools for their caring hearts and inspirational work to make the lives of others better!
