Thanks to Local Businesses Stepping Up to Help Students This Holiday Season

Magistic students with Hight Point Coffee ownerIt is a magical time of year for students throughout Jordan School District thanks, in part to local businesses who step up to make the holidays a little brighter.

Majestic Elementary School is fortunate to have High Point Coffee as a community partner and caring neighbor. For more than five years the store’s owner, Steve Wright has generously donated coats, clothing and other Christmas gifts to children at Majestic. It is something that makes a difference in the lives of students and staff at the school, all touched by the generosity of a local business.

Heartland Elementary School students were recently surprised by an outpouring of love from Waffle Love. The popular food truck showed up at the school offering free sweet waffle treats of to some students and staff. Heartland was nominated as part of a Facebook competition. The nomination said, in part, that having a food truck at the school would be a priceless experience for some students who are so very deserving. Heartland sends lots of love to this community partner going above and beyond to bring smiles to students this holiday season.

Jordan School District appreciates all local businesses donating time and resources to support students and education.
