Stacee Worthen is a counselor at Copper Hills High School who brings a tireless, positive attitude helping teens at the school who may be struggling. For her dedication to the students at Copper Hills High, Ms. Worthen was nominated for recognition as LifeChanger of the Year, an annual award sponsored by National Life Group Insurance and their foundation.
Through her efforts, the HOPE Squad was developed at Copper Hills for students who are struggling emotionally, assisting them in getting help. Ms. Worthen is the lead counselor at the school and has grown an outstanding, compassionate counseling team. She has created a nurturing atmosphere by running the counseling department with the philosophy that family comes first.
The national grand prize for the LifeChanger of the Year recipient is $10,000. Winners will be chosen by a selection committee, which will review comments from people who know and support the individual nominees.
