Valley High Students Explore the Future During Career Day

Display tables at Valley High Career FairLocal businesses are hiring, and Valley High students recently had a chance to talk to several of them about job opportunities at the school’s Career Fair.

In addition to employers, a wide variety of colleges and trade schools were in the Valley High commons, talking with students and giving them the chance to learn about employment prospects and educational options. Future grads were able to walk away armed with materials to help them make good choices for their future employment or education.

Some of the organizations represented included Utah Transit Authority, Ameritech, Café Rio, Jacobsen Construction, CCI and Dixie State University, among many other institutions.

Students learned plenty from the industry professionals and schools to help them make an informed decision about their future plans.
