Herriman Elementary Spanish Dual Language Immersion Students Receive Graduation Certificates

Herriman Elementary Dual Language Immersion students holding certificatesHerriman Elementary sixth grade Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) students recently received a special graduation certificate for completing the DLI program at the school.

Ana Sanz Llorens, from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports  and the Utah State Board of Education, along with DLI sixth grade teacher Begona Rodriquez, Jordan School District DLI Teacher Specialist Leticia Thomas and Herriman Elementary Principal Kim Gibson awarded the certificates and congratulated the students for their hard work. In completing the program students not only learned the Spanish language in a full immersion classroom, but also learned about Spanish culture and Spanish lifestyles.
