The Physics Teacher Education Coalition (PhysTEC) recently announced the creation of a new award program called PhysTEC Teacher of the Year. The award is designed to highlight the impact of recent graduates from physics teacher preparation programs in the classroom. Each of the winners was nominated by the PhysTEC member college/institution from which they graduated.
Copper Hills High Physics teacher, Cameron Vongsawad is one of ten state winners selected from across the nation. Mr. Vongsawad was nominated by Brigham Young University. We congratulate this outstanding professional for his contributions to students at Copper Hills High and physics education.
