It was a gift from the hearts of West Jordan Police officers and their wives that will make a big difference for students and teachers at Heartland Elementary School this year. Kelley Sanders and Farrah Rodriguez are both married to West Jordan Police officers and they have been collecting school supplies since May. Collecting everything from classroom supplies, markers, crayons, pencils, notebooks and binders to clothing, non-perishable snacks and much more. Kelley and Farrah say they know what it’s like to be a public servant and they wanted to give back to the communities their husband’s protect and serve. The project was called the “Class Act School Supply Drive” and was sponsored by the West Jordan Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary.
Thank you for your service, support and generosity toward students, teachers and staff at Heartland Elementary School!
