Hunter Boggess is in the 8th grade at West Jordan Middle School and he has already made his mark in the world of art. Hunter’s artwork called “Creative Storm” was recently selected as a winner in the VSA International Art Program at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The VSA International Art Program is an international organization that provides arts and education opportunities for people with disabilities.
Hunter competed with students from around the world who submitted works of art in the program. All of the artwork in the competition will be available online at the Kennedy Center’s website. Hunter’s piece “Creative Storm” will be framed and presented on display at the Kennedy Center.
