FUN FACT FRIDAY: Students Touch Lives With Holiday Charitable Giving

High Schools Raised $505,682.25 for Charity in December Every year students throughout Jordan School District go above and beyond raising money for charitable causes and families in need during the holiday season. They give of their time and talents to come up with creative ways to fundraise in the hope of contributing to their communities and bettering the lives of others.

We want to congratulate everyone who participated in school fundraisers over the holidays and thank them for making a difference with their hard work.

Here are fundraising totals from our high schools.

    • Raised $55,648.79 for Principal’s Pantries
    • Hours worked 6,050
  • Copper Hills High School
    • Raised $46,976.94 for families in need in the school’s community
  • Herriman High School 
    • Raised $141,658.00 for Millie’s Princess Foundation and Principal’s Pantries
  • Riverton High School
    • Raised $195,856.19 for Shelter Kids
  • West Jordan High School
    • Raised $65,542.33 for the Angel’s Hands Foundation
