High School Photography Students Head to San Francisco for Opportunity of a Lifetime

Some successful and well-known San Francisco businesses are joining forces with students in Robyn Briggs’ West Jordan High School Photography class in a lesson that will likely be an opportunity of a lifetime for the young teens.

The students will travel to California this week where they have agreed to photograph individual company products in front of dozens of San Francisco landmarks. The students will then share the promotional photographs with the companies, which in turn can use them in professional advertising campaigns on websites, social media and other platforms. The hope is that the connections made with these San Francisco companies will help to jump-start the high school student careers in professional photographic marketing.

Before departing on their trip, the Photography class opened swag bags from the companies involved – letting them know for the first time the products they will be photographing while in San Francisco.
