Riverton City Recognizes Rosamond Elementary with Awards for “Excellence in Education”

Picture of award winnersJoin us in congratulating the following students and teacher who are recipients of the Riverton City Choice Awards for “Excellence in Education.”

  • McKenzie Thygerson – McKenzie is a wonderful fifth grade student. She has so many strong characteristics, as a student and as a friend. McKenzie works hard academically and strives to always do her best. She volunteers and participates in class discussions and activities. Her teacher says that McKenzie is very helpful. McKenzie is also a good friend. She listens, is fair and comforts others. McKenzie is a great role model at Rosamond and we sure appreciate her!
  • Tanner Berg – Tanner is a delightful fourth grade student at Rosamond. His teacher says that he is very empathetic and tries to make sure others feel valued. On his own, Tanner writes positive notes to other students. He is always thinking of others.Tanner works hard in class and always participates. He makes the classroom a better place every day. Tanner contributes to our school as well. He is a student leader and a member of the Culture Club- whose mission is to bring smiles to the faces of all Rosamond Student
  • Kim Vance – Kim Vance is an exceptional 6th grade teacher, who is invested in her students and in the Rosamond community. She has served as a PLC leader and is currently the 6th grade team leader. Kim is a dedicated teacher, who recognizes the importance of the work she does every day. As a STEM leader, she has helped the Rosamond faculty make great leaps in teaching STEM lessons and accessing STEM materials. We love her upbeat attitude, her friendly smile and the joy she brings to Rosamond Elementary.
