Principal at Southland Elementary School Receives a Pie in the Face for a Good Cause

Principal Lisa Jackson and music teacher Ms. Jakositz pose with Real Monarch players after getting a pie in the face. Students at Southland Elementary School were treated to an assembly dedicated to kindness and giving back after the school collected more than 3000 ‘Box Tops for Education,’ to benefit neighboring Kauri Sue Hamilton School. Students more than exceeded their goal of 2000 ‘Box Tops,’ so Principal Lisa Jackson and music teacher Ms. Jakositz both agreed to take a pie in the face. Students also heard from Real Monarchs Players about the rewards of hard work and watched a school-produced video about kindness.

Congratulations Southland students for all your hard work!
