Bluffdale Elementary Students Turn City Hall into a Constitutional Courtroom

Bluffdale City Hall played host to a constitutional debate as a part of Bluffdale Elementary’s “We the People” program. Students from Ms. Fisher’s 5th-grade class broke into three teams to debate the meaning and intention of the founding fathers when they were writing the U.S. Consitution. Community leaders including Unified Police Department Chief of Police, Jason Mazuran, and Bluffdale Mayor Derk Timothy along with others helped judge the student’s arguments.

Great job Ms. Fisher’s 5th-grade class on an informative and well thought out program.
