Eastlake Students Celebrate Freedom in America During Huge Performance at BYU’s Marriott Center

Students performing at Marriott CenterIt was a patriotic performance to remember as 5th grade students from across the State of Utah came together participating in Hope of America. The event is sponsored by the Freedom Festival and helps students celebrate America’s freedom through song, choreography and sign language. Fifth grade students from Eastlake Elementary School were a part of the performance and they came together with other students wearing red, white and blue to form the American flag at BYU’s Marriott Center.

Songs in the Hope of America program teach students about the Constitution, Founding Fathers, how government works and an appreciation for members of the military and other American heroes.

Members of the military, first responders and their families attended the event where they were honored.
