Foothills Elementary Students Cut Their Locks for Love

Students pose with their donations to 'Locks of Love'Short hair is trendy at Foothills Elementary School after seven students donated their long locks to ‘Locks of Love.’ The first through sixth-graders all had big smiles on their faces as stylists from Taylor Andrews Hair Academy cut off the donations during a schoolwide assembly. ‘Locks of Love’s’ mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children free of charge.

These students are a great example of generosity in our schools. Keep up the great work!
