Columbia Elementary Student Finds Unique Way to Share Her Birthday Gifts With Others

Principal Abram Yospe poses with 6th-grade student Tavia and a cart of food she donated to the school. One Columbia Elementary School 6th-grade student decided to do something unique with her birthday money. Tavia, who just turned 11-years-old, heard about the need for food donations to the Columbia ElementarySchool Principal’s Pantry. With her birthday cash, Tavia went grocery shopping and filled a cart full of food which she then delivered to principal Abram Yospe. This donation will help feed dozens of meals to students who might otherwise have gone without.

Great job Tavia for showing that giving back to your community is the best gift of all!
