FUN FACT FRIDAY: Five New Schools Set to Open On Time and Under Budget in Jordan School District as 2019-20 School Year Begins

Picture of new school cafeteriaIt has been a race to the finish as crews work to put the finishing touches on five new schools opening in Jordan School District for the 2019-20 school year. Having all the new schools ready to open and welcome students for the first day of school has been a huge undertaking. However, thanks to hard working staff, construction crews and principals who have spent countless hours making sure everything is ready – the doors to all five new schools will open on time and under budget.

The first new school to open is Mountain Ridge High School (Herriman) on Monday, August 19 at 7:30 a.m. This school is opening one year early.

On Tuesday, August 20, Mountain Point (Bluffdale) and Ridge View Elementary Schools (Herriman) open along with Mountain Creek Middle School (South Jordan) and the rebuild of West Jordan Middle School.
