Community Comes Together to Support Students in Need

Members of the Riverview 3rd Ward hold Jordan School District is grateful for members of the community and local businesses taking time over the holiday season to make sure students in need are taken care of with warm clothing and food.

Recently several groups surprised the Jordan Education Foundation with gifts that will make a big difference in the lives of children and teens.

  • The Riverview 3rd Ward held a food drive that resulted in more than 300 snack packs and several hundred weekend food packs for students in four JSD schools.
  • Employees at CarMax in South Jordan showed up with several hundred new pairs of socks for students.
  • The Oasis Title Company in Sandy delivered 75 brand new coats for students in need.
