Students Take Pride in Becoming D.A.R.E. Graduates After Learning Valuable Life Skills

A student holds up her D.A.R.E. graduation certificate. It was a special day for students at Majestic, Mountain Shadows and Terra Linda Elementary Schools as they received Certificates of Achievement after successfully completing the D.A.R.E. program. West Jordan City Police Officers teach the program in elementary schools where students learn to make good choices and safe, responsible decisions in life. The students also write about something called “My Help Network” as part of the D.A.R.E. program. Many students identified their “Help Network” as family members, friends, parents even pets in the home – anyone who can be there and support students in everyday life.

Congratulations to all of the D.A.R.E. graduates and to West Jordan Police for their leadership and investment in student safety and success.
