Congratulations to some very hard-working and accomplished students at West Hills and West Jordan Middle Schools. Eighth graders from both schools competed in the State “We the People” competition and West Hills Middle School won first place, West Jordan Middle School took second place!
‘We the People’ spotlights Constitutional history, law and civics. The event combines knowledge of the Constitution, while defending their beliefs, rights and roles as U.S. citizens.
We are very proud of these talented students and their teachers Carina Whiteside (West Hills Middle), William Shields and Alexia May (West Jordan Middle).
