2019-20 West Hills Concert Choir Performance Gets State Recognition and a Prestigious Invitation

It was a performance that happened before school dismissal and COVID-19, but it is getting the West Hills Concert Choir statewide recognition this school year.

Last year the choir, directed by music teacher Michael Draut, performed “Requiem,” a song about seeking solace in adversity. The song was submitted to the Utah Chapter of the American
Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and West Hills was one of only two middle school choirs in the state selected to perform at ACDA Utah’s Fall Conference this year.

Congratulations on a great accomplishment!
