Bagpipes Ring Out in Halls of Mountain Creek Middle to Commemorate Veterans Day

Esera playing bagpipesEsera Leota served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. On Wednesday, Esera came to Mountain Creek Middle School to help students and staff commemorate Veterans Day. Mr. Leota amazed  students and staff with powerful renditions of traditional bagpipe tunes. It was a special way to honor the men and women who have served our country and to remember those who lost their lives protecting our freedom. Esera’s wife, Sandy Leota, is also a veteran of 26 years and works as a hall monitor at Mountain Creek Middle.

Thank you to Esera and Sandy for their years of service and for taking the time to help students honor those who have so bravely served our country.
