Community Comes Together to Care for Students

Picture of clothing donationIt was a donation from the heart for students throughout Jordan School District. The South Jordan Glenmoor Stake Relief Society wanted to do something to help the community and build unity in these challenging times. So, over the past two months they went to work collecting coats, gloves, socks, hats, boots and food hoping to make a difference in the lives of students in need.

The hard work paid off in a big way. The Relief Society delivered 4,500 pounds of food and clothing to Jordan School District. The huge donation will be used to support Principal’s Pantries in all of our schools. The pantries provide food, clothing and hygiene essentials for students who may be struggling and need a little help.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved in this amazing service project. Your generosity will make a difference in young lives, especially during these difficult times.
