Community Comes Together to Take Care of Mountain Point Students During Winter Break

Picture of community members and food donationThey wanted to make sure no child goes without food during the winter break. That’s why some kind and caring families joined forces and raised money to send food boxes home to those in need at Mountain Point Elementary School this holiday season. They were so successful, the community members managed to raise $15,000 which will help to feed more than 80 families.

Principal Carolyn Bona was delighted by the donation saying, “people are so good, I love this community so much!”

Thank you to everyone involved in helping kids over the holidays! Your kindness and generosity is inspiring.
