Foothills Students Are Successful with Service Project So Principal Makes Good on Promise to Dye Hair Pink

Students at Foothills Elementary School wanted to do something to bring some holiday happiness to children at Primary Children’s Hospital this year. So, they began the “Teddy Bear Project,” hoping to raise enough money to purchase 400 of the stuffed animals. Principal Cherie Wilson said she would dye her hair pink if the students met their goal. In the end, students surpassed their goal of raising enough money for 502 teddy bears for children in the hospital. True to her word and to the delight of students, Principal Wilson made good on her promise and dyed her hair pink.

Thank you, Foothills Elementary student, for thinking of others during this holiday season.
