Big congratulations are in order for some very talented students and staff at Mountain Ridge High School. The MRHS marching band had a musical plan in place and some very big goals going into the State competition. Their performance was focused on a theme of nature replicating sounds of a storm with lightening, rain and wind – it was described as majestic and beautiful. The show was a big hit and the MRHS marching band took first place in their first competition of the season!
Congratulations to the MRHS marching band! We can’t wait to see what is next from this talented group of musicians.
