West Jordan High School is getting some pretty high praise from the State Superintendent of Public Education for working hard to make sure all students succeed. The State Board of Education (USBE) has chosen WJHS as a “Utah High School of Excellence” for closing the opportunity gap for Utah’s multilingual learners.

Jordan School District was among seven school districts recognized for its efforts to provide equitable access and success to coursework that prepares multilingual learners for future success. The USBE is committed to honoring educators who support equitable access to the same educational opportunities offered to English speaking peers.

Congratulations to West Jordan High School! We are proud of your work contributing to the future wellbeing of Utah’s families and communities.
