Veterans of Foreign Wars, also known as the (VFW), honored Joel P. Jensen Middle School teacher Paige Dayley with the Stuart Maher and Voice of Democracy awards. Ms. Dayley is recognized for her teaching excellence and motivating students to share their thoughts on democracy. Commander James Sheppard from the VFW presented these awards and $200 to Ms. Dayley.
