Thank you to everyone who helped in the naming process for the new elementary school in South Jordan by participating in an online survey suggesting names and narrowing the field.
The name selected for the new school is Aspen Elementary School. The Board of Education unanimously approved the name last night. Aspen Elementary will open for the 2021-22 school year.
Principal Suzanne Williams says she is thrilled with the name and has already hired many amazing teachers and staff dedicated to preparing students for success. Principal Williams is excited to move forward with opening the school and having students choose school colors and a mascot in the fall.
Jordan School District is excited about the educational opportunities and new traditions which will be established at Aspen Elementary School!
