Some Jordan School District online first grade students decided to do something different for Valentine’s Day this year and what they did truly came from the heart. The students and their families came together and designed, colored and created homemade Valentine’s Day cards with special messages of kindness to brighten the day of hospitalized veterans.
At Monte Vista Elementary the students made almost 200 Valentines which were delivered to the VA Hospital in time for Valentine’s Day and the cards were a big hit among the veterans who received them.
We are proud of these kind students and their families for creating kind messages from the heart this Valentine’s Day.
