It’s a pretty big accomplishment in the world of Esports. Aditya Murugan, a junior at Bingham High School, placed second in Shoutcasting at the ITeam Utah State Conference. Shoutcasting refers to the running commentary of Esports matches that is intended to both entertain and inform the viewer. USU Eastern’s Esports Coach Kevin Ven Der Spek says Aditya’s Shoutcasting abilities can lead to scholarship opportunities. Aditya is a part of the JATC North Esports team under the direction of coach Amber Saffen.
