Students Receive Big Reward after Surpassing Reading

BMX Biker performed stunt for studentsThere are stars everywhere you look in the halls of Columbia Elementary School right now thanks to some passionate little book worms. Every time a student finished reading a book, a star was placed in the hallway with the student’s name and the title of the book which was read. With just one week left until the end of the school year, reading stars circle around the entire school twice, representing 3,800 books read by students this year alone! That surpassed a reading goal set by the school.

As a reading reward, “BMX Stunt Masters performed outside for the entire student body. Along with some crazy stunts and jumps, the performers delivered a motivational message, inspiring students to always be their best.

Congratulations, Columbia students on your amazing reading record!
