It was a fun day of learning for students and teachers at South Jordan Elementary School with lots of Harry Potter look-alikes, cowboys and pioneers in classrooms from one end of the building to another. That’s because some teachers worked hard and collaborated creating a theme day to spark creativity in learning.
The 5th grade team participated in a “Harry Potter STEM Day” with all kinds of activities and lessons created with the Wizarding World and School of Hogwarts in mind. Students even participated in a fun game of Quidditch.
In the 4th grade, students worked on things like making their own jewelry, some dressed in pioneer-type attire for the “Rendezvous Day” theme.
And there were lots of cute cowboy hats and boots in first grade for the “Cowboy Day” theme.
Thanks to these amazing teachers for making learning fun and engaging for students.
