It was a Homecoming competition with an educational component for some Herriman High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). The students combined American enterprise concepts with a cookie bake-off for homecoming royalty nominees. The nominees baked some really creative cookies, using in some cases, old family recipies. They also had to design a poster promoting their cookies. The cookies and promotional posters were judged by local business owners who then talked to the FBLA students about building a successful brand and marketing. It was a fun and tasty way to learn about business from local professionals while supporting the homecoming court.
