It is a festival that features the work of talented art students in a unique way where the sidewalk outside of school is turned into one big canvas. The West Jordan Middle School Chalk Art Festival was a huge success this year with about 190 students participating in collaborative art projects, creating drawings based on a theme and working together to make wonderful, colorful creations! This was the largest Chalk Art Festival in the 11- year history of the event at West Jordan Middle.
Congratulations to all of the students involved and to Visual Arts Teacher Ivie Erickson for inspiring creativity and a love for the arts in young lives.
