It was a night for families to come together and celebrate a love for literacy and reading their favorite books. Monte Vista Elementary School held its first-ever Literacy Night. The evening included two local authors and Bingham High School senior, Claire Burnham, who has won national storytelling awards and performed storytelling for students and their families.
There were also presentations, fun hands-on learning activities and information about books and resources for families.
Thanks to everyone involved in Literacy Night, which helps students and families get excited about developing a life-long love for reading.
