High School Students Reveal Big Holiday Fundraising Totals for Local Charities

It was an exciting day filled with emotion, tears, and triumph as students from Jordan School District high schools gathered with anticipation to see how much money they raised for their local charities throughout the month of December.

The big reveals are something students, teachers, staff, parents, and members of the community look forward to, knowing all of the money raised is going to a cause carefully selected by each school.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the charity drives this year. The total for all six Jordan School District high schools is $645,935. 

Here are the high schools and the charities which will benefit from the hard work and giving spirit of students and the communities.

  • Bingham High School – $85,741 (The Kauri Sue Hamilton School and Make-A-Wish Utah)
  • Copper Hills High School –$71,515 (Local Families in Need in the West Jordan Community)
  •  Herriman High School – $141,436 (Children and The Earth Inc.)
  •  Mountain Ridge High School – $142,907 (Millie’s Princess Foundation)
  •  Riverton High School – $173,487 (The Refuge Utah)
  •  West Jordan High School – $30,849 (Unbridled Hope and Healing)

Grand Total for Jordan School District High Schools – $645,935
