Herriman Mayor Visits Butterfield Canyon Elementary

Herriman City Mayor Lorin Palmer dropped by Butterfield Canyon Elementary School. The assembly visit was the culminating event in “School Culture Week”. The Bobcats of Butterfield Canyon have been discussing responsibilities and expectations while at school using the acronym R.O.A.R. (Respectful, Optimistic, Accepting, Responsible).

Mayor Palmer talked to the students about respect and what the Pledge of Allegiance means to him. He even promised to return to Butterfield Canyon for the school Fun Run in September and get slimed if they meet their fundraising goal.
