Students in the SilverScreen program at Riverton High School took home a prestigious Student Production Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Rocky Mountain/Southwest Region. This is a chapter of the same organization that produced the Emmy Awards for professional film and TV producers. The SilverScreen students won in the High School Magazine Program category for a special they created for the 2024 SilverRush charity drive.
Digital Media teacher Joshua Luchs said that this was the first time his students had submitted to the Student Production Awards. Each student who worked on the project received an award certificate, and the video program itself received a crystal trophy to display in the classroom.
Way to go to all the students whose creativity and hard work made this outstanding video production a reality. Keep up the great work, Riverton High School.
