It was a hard fought and impressive road to victory as the Bingham High School girls’ basketball team gave it their all, played their hearts out, and came out on top. On Friday afternoon, the team was crowned 6A State champs in a 49-33 win over Lone Peak.
The number no. 6 seed Bingham rode momentum from their quarterfinal win over Cedar Valley, and then went on to beat no. 2 seed Syracuse in Thursday’s semifinals to advance to their first State championship game since 2020.
