Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) classes at Herriman Elementary celebrated the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries through dance and music at their annual DLI Dance Festival. Each grade presented a dance from a different country, highlighting everything from the traditional dances of Peru to the love of soccer in Spain. Students spent hours perfecting their choreography to put on an assembly for their classmates and a second performance at Fort Herriman Middle School for their families.
Great job, Herriman Elementary students! Thank you for sharing your love of these cultures through art with your classmates and families.
