Westvale Elementary students laced up their sneakers for the school’s annual Fun Run through the neighborhood. Volunteers guided students through a three-quarter-mile course around the school and past the nearby Mountain View Golf Course. A cheering section of parents and teachers met the runners at the finish line. Top finishers in each grade took home a medal, but everyone walked away with a ribbon for participating, a popsicle, and a smile.
A special thank you to the West Jordan Police Department for patrolling the streets during the run and ensuring everyone stayed safe and had a great time.
